This site that has assisted researchers for over 14 years. We continually update links. Please bear with us whilst this large project is undertken. We have to check and re-enter the numerous links to ensure they are still live and to add new ones. If you should find any broken links please contact us.
The links provided on this site have been checked from time to time, but it is inevitable that some will become obsolete or "dead" from over time.
If you do find any links that are not working please do let us know as soon as possible and we will investigate and correct.
If you think a link should be added please also let us know and we will consider it for inclusion.
Ther are over 250 links here so please make sure it is not already listed.
Join the Link Market Exchange to get yourself listed or send an email with your suggested Genealogy Link. If accepted we will add it to our Visitors Genealogy Links and ask that you add a link back to us on your site.
The site has grown since its inception in 2001 and gets over 2000 visitors each month.
The site name is sometimes confused with www.familysearch.org. This was not intentional as we wanted to use a site name that indicates what the site is about. "Find your Family", but all other options were unavailable, when we began this free service. So Search Family Org was the only domain that had at least the nearest words that mean "find your family".
Genealogy searching is sometimes a difficult and costly business, but we hope our site will assist you with taking some of the drudgery and remove some of the costs involved in this enterprise!
Once again we ask that if you should find any broken links or think a particular genealogy website should be here and isn't, then please do contact us.
If you have a genealogy site you think needs some free promotion, why not send us a link for consideration? If suitable all we ask is that you place a similar link back to us. These reciprocal links help in your sites ranking on Google and other search engines as well as providing a great network of resources for the family researcher.
